Marsha Bergren of CS Designs had a quilt shop, Country Schoolhouse Designs, just a short distance from Lake Superior in Superior, Wisconsin, from 2002 to 2016. She developed the first twister tools in 2009, and within a short time you could find the tools in just about every quilt shop in the U.S.
Marilyn Foreman of Quilt Moments began her pattern business in 2006 with her love of 4-patch kaleidoscope patterns and scrappy designs. She got really excited about the twister tools when they came out and started a line of twister quilt patterns. You can read more about Marilyn and Quilt Moments on the Quilt Moments website.
Lisa Amundson of Around the Bobbin began her bag pattern business in 2011. In 2013, she wrote a twister tote pattern and was also hooked on these fun little tools! You can find out more about Lisa and Around the Bobbin on the Around the Bobbin website.
When Marsha mentioned that she was ready to retire from the twister tool business and was looking for someone to take over, Marilyn and Lisa were very excited about this new opportunity! One thing led to another and they soon formed Twister Sisters and finalized the purchase on September 30, 2015.
So, what are we doing on the internet. . . Let’s twist!
